Sharing Knowledge

When evening came, Jesus became concerned that his crowd of listeners was hungry. It is then that His disciples informed Him about the boy who had carried two small fish and five loaves of bread.
The boy gave his fish and bread to Jesus who multiplied them to a large amount that was enough to feed the crowd and still have leftovers. Of course the people in the crowd took the leftovers with them when leaving.
I'm sure that boy who shared his fish and bread with Jesus took home more than he gave, surprising his mother. And that inspires me to also share what I've with others so that God may bless me more.
Don't get me wrong: I don't share everything I own. There are some things I never give away. My toothbrush is one of them; my favorite books are another, for I keep them for rereading.
Now that I'm yet to grow rich, the thing that I share is my knowledge. And I do it on this blog, my pride and joy. It delights me when people tell me how they have found a post on my blog informative.
I agree with Denis Waitley that knowledge is like money. It means little when we just accumulate it but becomes meaningful when we put it to use and share it with others. That insight has encouraged me to keep sharing my knowledge.
